Leader Singh for NC’s 14th general convention on stipulated time



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh stressed the need for NC to organize the 14th general convention within the stipulated time.

At a gathering and training session organized by Nepal Dalit Association, in Kathmandu, on Sunday, Singh said party leaders and cadres should be alert as efforts were underway to affect the general convention under various pretexts.

In another context, the leader accused the incumbent government of failure to meet expectation and spirit of the people. Claiming that the party was always with the country and the people in need and during crisis, he argued that NC-led government should be formed to clear present political impasse.

On the occasion, President of the NC, Kathmandu, Sabuj Baniya, underscored the need for ending groupism and sub-groupism within the NC to strengthen the party.
