Nepalgunj sees 24 COVID-19 cases including 3 in India returnees



NEPALGUNJ: Nepalgunj has seen 24 new cases of coronavirus including in three India returnees in past 24 hours.

According to Tej Bahadur Oli, the focal person of COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC), three India returnees tested positive at the Health Desk at the checkpoint and 21 swabs tested in Bheri Hospital Nepalgunj tested coronavirus positive in past 24 hours.

The coronavirus positive patients have been kept in the quarantine established in the hospital.

Nine India returnees have tested coronavirus positive at the health desk established at the checkpoint.

According to focal person Oli, although CCMC Banke has asked all the municipalities to set up quarantine and isolation centers, however, none of the municipality has done so yet.
