Biplav outfit’s leader arrested in Kanchanpur



BHIMDUTTANAGAR: Police have arrested a leader close to teachers association of the Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav-led outfit on the charge of threatening people for extortion.

DSP Gyan Bahadur Bista at District Police Office, Kanchanpur said that senior vice-chairman of All Nepal Teachers Association Kanchanpur Chapter, Bibek Prasad Lamshal, was arrested from Hattibazaar area of Kanchanpur.

Police said they are investigating the case further.
