Prachanda warns anti-revolutionary forces from Rukum

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has warned anti-revolutionary forces from a program held in West Rukum Tuesday.

The Maoist chair went to Rukum to participate in a program to mark People’s Movement Day. He sent a message to the ruling forces that he was not alone and had the support of Maoist cadres and leaders and people in the country.

Undergoing self-criticism at the mass gathering, he said, “I have made a mistake by placing people who had abandoned me in leading roles and leaving behind those who always stood by me.” He added, “I regret that those who stood by me in the past are neglected and have been falling behind.”

He said it was his mistake to recommend someone, who tried to bomb him during the second Constituent Assembly election, to the post of Home Minister, referring to incumbent Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’.

He also said that his energy and enthusiasm were renewed by being amidst the people in Rukkum.
