3 Pakistani soldiers die in a clash in North Waziristan



ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani military has said three Pakistani soldiers were killed and seven others wounded in a clash with the militants in North Waziristan, Pakistani media reported.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said around 70 militants attacked Pakistani soldiers in Alwara of North Waziristan who were undertaking fencing efforts.

Pakistani army said the fighters used Afghan soil to target the soldiers, according to reports.

It said that the Pakistani forces responded and repulsed the attack, which left several militants dead or wounded. (Agencies)
