MoHA directs DAOs to strictly enforce public health protocols

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has issued a circular calling for strict enforcement of public health protocols outlining the heightened risk of COVID-19 spread Tuesday.

The MoHA has written to District Administration Offices (DAOs) across the country, urging them to do necessary preparation keeping in view the rising number of cases of the coronavirus in bordering Indian States and the risk it posed to Nepal.

The MoHA circular comes on the heels of the Ministry of Health and Population’s COVID-19 update Sunday.
