Beni-Jomsom road to be closed for four days



MYAGDI: Beni-Jomsom road section connecting Mustang district via the northern part of Myagdi district will be closed for four days.

According to the District Administration Office, Mustang, the 76 kilometers Beni-Jomson road under the national pride project –Kaligandaki corridor– would be closed from March 27-30.

Issuing a notice Monday, Assistant Chief District Officer Jagadish Aryal shared that the vehicular movement would be stopped along the road for four days as per the decision of the District Security Committee for upgrade and construction of the road.

The Beni-Jomson road under the Kaligandaki corridor is being upgraded in four packages.

Construction of national pride project —Beni-Jomsom-Korala road — started from 2074 BS with the investment of around Rs 6 billion.

The 110-kilometer Jomsom-Korala road is being graveled.
