Tribhuvan Army Club ‘A’ clinches CoAS Int’l Tri-Adventure Competition



KHABARHUB: Tribhuvan Army Club ‘A’ of Nepali Army has won the fourth Chief of Army Staff International Tri-Adventure Competition that was held at Baireni in Dhading district.

Tribhuvan Army Club ‘B’ finished first runner-up and APF Club of Armed Police Force second runner-up.

In the women’s category, Tribhuvan Army Club won the competition. Paddle Nepal stood first runner-up and Crank Sister second runner-up. A team of Pakistani Army was announced, an excellent international team.

Under this adventure sport, running (6.7 kilometers), cycling (26 kilometers), and rafting (11 kilometers) were organized. Army Chief Purna Chandra Thapa handed awards and certificates to the winners.

The contest was participated by three teams of Tribhuvan Army Club, a team of central division headquarters of the Army and other 16 teams and 80 athletes from foreign countries including Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom.

In men’s category, winner received Rs 150,000, first runner-up Rs 100,000 and second runner-up Rs 75,000.
Likewise, in the women’s group, the winner got Rs 50,000, the first runner-up Rs 30,000, and the second runner-up Rs 20,000.

Likewise, Army Chief Thapa handed a letter of appreciation to the competition organizers No 6 brigade and Shivadal battalion. Started from 2071 BS, an army team from various friendly nations has been participating in the competition since 2074 BS.
