UML’s decision to seek explanation is ridiculous: Leader Rawal

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal has said that the decision of Chairman KP Oli to seek clarification from him and other party elected leaders was ridiculous.

Rawal alleged Chairman Oli for holding what he said “illegal meeting” and ask for an explanation from the leaders.

He also said that he would reject the party’s decision of seeking clarification. In a tweet, Rawal said he would reject Oli’s explanation of holding talks with foreign intelligence chiefs at night out of fear for national independence, freedom, self-respect, and interests, conspiring to regress by violating Nepal’s constitution, attacking the mandate and dissolving the House of Representatives.

“It is illegal and ridiculous to ask the Central Committee members elected from the ninth National General Convention for an explanation. I reject such a decision,” Rawal wrote in a tweet.

A meeting of the UML Central Committee convened in Baluwatar on Saturday had decided to seek clarification from Rawal, senior leaders Madhav Nepal, Surendra Pandey, and Ghanshyam Bhusal.
