Madhav-Jhalanath faction skips PM Oli’s “tea party” at Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: The “tea party” organized by Prime Minister KP Oli has begun at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar amid tight security.

The “tea party” has been attended by senior leaders of the ruling CPN-UML, ministers, lawmakers, among other leaders.

Meanwhile, the disgruntled faction of the CPN-UML led by Madhav Kumar Nepal boycotted the party despite being invited.

Journalists, too, are not allowed to enter the venue.
