Maoist Center decides to call back its ministers from Oli-led govt



KATHMANDU: A Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center) held on Saturday morning has decided to call back its ministers participating in the Oli-led government.

The SC meeting held at Peris Danda this morning also decided to seek clarification from the 23 former Maoist Center leaders who joined the central committee of the CPN-UML yesterday, informed SC member Devendra Paudel.

The meeting has also decided to postpone the national conclave scheduled for March 14 until further notice. However, the Central Committee (CC) meeting called for March 14 will take place as scheduled, said Paudel.

Chairman Prachanda on Friday had called the SC meeting today immediately after the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) held discussions on the future political course in Budhanilkantha.
