UML’s Nepal-Khanal faction’s SC meeting concludes

KATHMANDU: The Nepal-Khanal faction of the ruling CPN-UML has held  a Standing Committee (SC) meeting on Saturday morning.

The meeting discussed how to move ahead in the coming days after party Chairman KP Oli scrapped all the posts except Chairman and General Secretary elected  by the Ninth General Convention, informed leader Raghuji Panta.

The meeting has set the agenda for the central committee (CC) meeting scheduled for today. It has urged all the party rank and file to stand united against the Oli’s decisions taken on Friday.

A meeting of the central committee members of the Oli faction on Friday decided to nominate 23 former CPN (Maoist Center) leaders to the Central Committee.

A meeting of the Nepal-Khanal faction held yesterday concluded that they will defy the decision saying that it is against the decision of the party statute.
