Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 3,012 with one new fatality



KATHMANDU: As many as one COVID-19 patient succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 3,012 as of Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 59 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,74,869 in the country as of Tuesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 870 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 60 have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,70,987 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, one more person succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 3,012.
