‘Our stadium, my chair’ campaign kicks off



KATHMANDU: ‘My Stadium, My Chair’ campaign has been initiated to complete the ongoing construction of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium under the aegis of Dhurmus Suntali Foundation.

Under the campaign, one can write his/her name in the chair placed in the stadium parapet by donating Rs 100,000.

Now the donors have approached the Foundation to write their names in the chair by donating the stipulated amount.

In this course, ‘Okhati’ soap manufacturing company has handed over Rs 100,000 to the Foundation to get the company’s name written in the chair.

Company’s managing director Shovakanta Basyal handed a cheque of Rs 100,000 to chairperson of the Foundation Sitaram Kattel for the purpose of stadium construction.

Those interested to book chairs in the stadium before their names have increased in numbers after the Foundation launched the campaign ”Our Stadium, My Chair’ in Kathmandu.

Foundation chair Dhurmus said that the concept was put forth to raise fund for the ongoing construction of the stadium. “We initiated the campaign since there was a short of resource for the stadium construction”, Dhurmus added. RSS
