Prachanda-Nepal faction of NCP boycotts parliamentary session

KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” and Madhav Kumar Nepal of the Nepal Communist Party, has boycotted the session of the reinstated House of Representatives Sunday.

They argued that since the government has lost its validity, they would not participate in the session where the “illegitimate” government would table ordinances.

Earlier, lawmaker Bhim Rawal of the Prachanda-Nepal faction questioned the relevance of the government since the Supreme Court had annulled the Nepal Communist Party.
