PM Oli faction’s PP meeting concludes; 115 lawmakers attend



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Prime Minister KP Oli has held a meeting of the Parliamentary Party (PP) on Saturday.

Held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, as many as 115 lawmakers including 91 from House of Representatives and 24 from the National Assembly were present in the PP meeting.

According to lawmaker Khim Lal Bhattarai, 115 lawmakers participated in the meeting and expected hole that this number would increase up to 130 tomorrow.

Chairing the meeting, Parliamentary Party Leader and Prime Minister KP Oli urged the lawmakers to move ahead with zeal and enthusiasm saying that they are with the nation and the people.

The PP meeting had stared at 3 pm and concluded at 4:30 pm.

Chief Whip Bhattarai said that Saturday’s meeting was convened to discuss the agenda of the House meeting.

The government has called a meeting of the House of Representatives on March 7.
