NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal received the first dose of the Covishield vaccine on Thursday.

Kejriwal and his parents got the first dose of the vaccine at LNJP hospital in New Delhi, Indian media reports have said.

People above 60 years of age and those above 45 years with comorbidities are getting inoculated in this phase of COVID-19 vaccination, according to India Today.

Since the beginning of Phase 2 of the vaccination drive, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and other central and state ministers have received their first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine, it said.
