482 including Speaker and former PMs inoculated against COVID-19



KATHMANDU: As many as 482 people including the Speaker, former Prime Ministers, ministers, lawmakers and the staffers at the Federal Parliament were vaccinated against COVID-19 on Wednesday.

According to the Secretariat of the Federal Parliament, 165 lawmakers including Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, former Prime Ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Madhav Kumar Nepal, and 317 other staff including the security personnel at the Secretariat have been vaccinated.

The Secretariat has asked all lawmakers to get vaccinated against the virus to ensure health safety during the session.

The vaccination for the lawmakers will continue till Friday.
