BIRATNAGAR: The Province 1 Assembly has deferred the no-confidence motion discussion registered against Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai until March 15.

Issuing a notice on Wednesday, the Assembly Secretariat said that the meeting scheduled for March 4 has been rescheduled.

On February 21, the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) had registered the motion.

It should be recalled that the Prime Minister KP Oli-led faction had boycotted the meeting.
