Deuba says he is ready to shoulder the responsibility as a PM

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that he was prepared to shoulder the responsibility of becoming the Prime Minister if proposed.

Speaking at a program in Chitwan Wednesday, he, however, said that he has not bargained for the same.

According to him, his party, too, would reap the fruits if he agreed to become the PM.

In a tone of sarcasm, Deuba also asked party senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel not to worry even if he took up the responsibility to lead the country.

“Why should I shy away from taking the responsibility if the situation demands so?” Deuba queried.
