General Manager arrested for misdemeanor



KATHMANDU: Police have initiated investigation on General Manager (GM) of Hetauda-based Riddhisiddhi Cement Industry Lokendra Bahadur Malla by taking him on a seven-day remand.

District Police Office, Makwanpur arrested GM Malla on the charge of misdemeanor after a female staffer lodged a complaint against him.

Company staffers and locals have shut down the Riddhisiddhi Cement Industry based at Churiyamai in Hetauda for the last two days seeking stringent action against Malla.

DPO, Makwanpur said it will forward an action against Malla in line with the law.
