NC leader Thapa demands PM Oli’s resignation for his ‘cowardice’ remark



JANAKPURDHAM: Leader of Nepali Congress (NC) Gagan Thapa has lambasted Prime Minister KP Oli for giving a statement that he has “threats to life”.

Thapa also demanded PM Oli’s immediate resignation.

Addressing a program in Janakpur on Tuesday, Thapa denounced the PM’s remarks said that the country does not need such a coward and inefficient PM anymore.

“How could a PM who is not ensured about his security ensure the security of the people?” Thapa wondered adidn,g “We do not need a coward Prime Minister who feels insecure despite being guarded by Nepal Army, Armed Police Force Nepal and Nepal Police.”

NC leader Thapa also urged the Election Commission to free abstain from leading the country to impasse.
