NC hails formation of talk teams as positive



KATHMANDU: Main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has welcomed the formation of separate dialogue teams by the government and the Nepal Communist Party Biplav group while urging both sides to hold sincere talks.

Issuing a press release on Tuesday, NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma stated that the party believes in peaceful resolution of all problems through dialogue.

“Nepali Congress is confident that the government and the rebel group will seek a solution within the framework of a federal democratic republican parliamentary system of the government based on pluralism,” the release reads.
