China to provide additional 300,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines in grant

KATHMANDU: The Government of China has announced to provide additional 300,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine in grant assistance to Nepal.

“In order to support Nepal’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese government has decided to increase grant assistance of vaccine for Nepal to 800,000 doses,” Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi wrote in her Twitter account this evening while urging to join hands to achieve the victory at an early date.

Prior to this, the Government of China had announced to provide 500,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to Nepal on grant basis. RSS
