No cancer cell in Baburam Bhattarai’s tumor: Doctors



KATHMANDU: Doctors involved in the treatment of Chairman of Federal Council of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Dr Baburam Bhattarai said no cancer cells have been seen in his neuro-endocrine tumor.

According to Bhattarai’s press advisor Biswadeep Pandey, doctors have concluded that there is no cancer in the neuro-endocrine tumor.

But doctors have advised that the tumor should be operated as soon as possible, Pandey said.

He said that the doctors have suggested removal of the tumor within two to three months.

Bhattarai, who is in Delhi for medical treatment, is scheduled to return Kathmandu on Tuesday.
