BAITADI: Blood sample of Dinesh Bhatta, who has been accused in the rape and subsequent murder of Bhagarathi Bhatta of Baitadi, has been sent to the National Forensic Science Laboratory in Kathmandu for a DNA test, said the District Police Office, Baitadi.

The reports are expected to come in some days, which the police said would further help with the investigations into the crime.

Earlier, the vaginal swabs of the rape victim had been sent to the laboratory. However, the reports have not come out.
