Lyricist Thakali dies of heart attack

KATHMANDU: Bishwa Thakali, the lyricist of popular band ‘Nepathya’, has died of heart attack in the United States of America.
According to his nephew Adit Thakali, he died of cardiac arrest at the age of 52 on Saturday.

Thakali had composed a song ‘Jomsomai Bazaar’ which subsequently won the hearts of many music lovers.

The song deals with Jomsom, the district headquarters of Mustang,  where cold winds blow at a high speed almost  every day at 12 pm.

He had been living in the USA for a long time. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
