Int’l Conference on Analysis and Its Applications taking place in April



KATHMANDU: Nepal Mathematical Society (NMS) is scheduled to organize an International Conference on Analysis and Its Applications-2021 from April 9 to 11.

NMS stated that the conference is taking place in collaboration with Central Department of Mathematics, Tribhuvan University (TU); Department of Mathematics, School of Science, Kathmandu University (KU), South Asian University (SAU) New Delhi India; Association of Nepalese Mathematicians in America (ANMA) USA; Department of Mathematics Valmeeki Campus, Nepal Sanskrit University (NSU).

The Society confirmed that the two-day Conference postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic has been rescheduled to conduct through zoom platform.

The conference was scheduled to organize last year but was postponed due to coronavirus infection.

More than 200 renowned mathematicians from 10 different countries in the world are scheduled to present their views in the plenary and are invited for talks, society’s chairman Prof Dr Chet Raj Bhatta said.

A total of 23 themes of the mathematics have been included in the conference and a total of 30 working papers including 25 guest working papers would be presented.

Prof Dr Bhatta hoped that the conference would be relevant to share the international importance of mathematics at the international level adding that the government was devaluing the mathematics.
