Two Indian nationals held for ‘Hundi transaction’

BIRGUNJ: Parsa Police has arrested two Indian nationals for their alleged involvement in Hundi transaction.

The arrested have been identified as 40-year-old Sanjaya Kumar Gupta and Binod Kumar of Purvi Champaran District Motihari Raxaul-25.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police deployed from District Police Office (DPO), Parsa  arrested them from Birgunj Metropolitan City-16, Jayanti Chowk with Rs 700,000 during a security check.

They were arrested while they were coming to Nepal from Raxaul, India on a pulsar motorcycle, said DPO, Parsa.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the arrested on a five-day remand from Parsa District Court.
