Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 2,771 with four new fatalities



KATHMANDU: As many as four COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 2,771 as of Friday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 112 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 273,984 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 936 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 54 have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 270,277 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
