HoR lawmakers to receive salary for “dissolved” period

KATHMANDU: Lawmakers of the House of Representatives (HoR) will receive their remuneration in lump sum during the period when the HoR was not in operation.

The HoR was dissolved in December 20, which means that the lawmakers will be receiving the salary from December 21.

The lawmakers will receive their salary for the “dissolved” period, according to Roj Nath Pandey, Spokesperson of the Parliament Secretariat.

Each lawmaker gets a monthly salary of Rs 55,230.

It should be noted that the Supreme Court on Tuesday reinstated the dissolved HoR.
