Dhakal appointed chancellor of Pokhara Academy



KATHMANDU:  Padam Raj Dhakal has been appointed as the chancellor of Pokhara Academy.  Pokhara Metropolitan City has formed a seven-member committee with Dhakal as the Chancellor.

Dhakal is associated with the federation of national people’s cultures. He is also the former chairman of Lekhnath Literary Foundation.

Jeevan Dahal, Prakash Gyawali, Krishna Bhandari, Milan Sherchan, Saraswati Shreshtha, and Dilip Gayak are the members of the academy.

A total of 11 people had been recommended for the appointment of office bearers and members of the academy.
