Four women rescued while being trafficked to India



KATHMANDU: Four women being trafficked into India have been rescued.

A joint team of Armed Police Force (APF) and representatives from Maiti Nepal rescued them from Pashupatinagar bordering India.

A man of Gorkha lured them with promises that he would send them to Dubai via the lad of India. The rescued women are from Dharche, Gorkha and now they have been handed over to their parents.

According to statistics maintained by Maiti Nepal, Pashupatinagar, as many as 32 women have been rescued in the last two months (January to February).
