Nepse increases by 12.56 points



KATHMANDU: The share market index (Nepse) has increased by 12.56 points on Wednesday.

The market has closed at 2599.08 points.

A total of 167.26 million shares of 204 companies were traded at a turnover of Rs 6.70 billion Wednesday.

The Sensitive Index also increased 2.40 points and reached to 470.35 points today.

The index of hydropower and other groups has decreased while the index of the rest of the groups has increased.

Investors in IME General Insurance earned the most on Wednesday. Its shares have increased by 10 percent.

Similarly, shares of Nepal Finance Limited rose by 9.97 percent and Chandragiri Hills by 9.94 percent.

The share price of Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has decreased by 5.39 percent today as well.
