Nepse decreases by 21.16 points



KATHMANDU: The stock market has declined by 21.16 points on Tuesday.

The market stood at 2586.51 points.

There was a decline in all groups except trading. Share prices of four companies have increased above 9 percent.

Shares of three companies have increased more than 5 percent. Nepal Finance Limited has earned the most while Nepal Infrastructure Bank has lost the most.

This is the first time that a negative circuit has taken place in the bank’s shares. Its share price fell by Rs 66 on the same day.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also declined by 2.41 points.

Shares worth Rs 8.56 billion have been traded today. A total of 1,77,14,912 shares have been bought and sold from 83,357 transactions during the day.

The transaction amount has reached Rs 8,561,539,426. The trade group has increased by 26.73 points while all other groups traded on Nepse have declined.
