ANNFSU protestors hurl shoes at ‘regression’

KATHMANDU: All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU) of the Prachanda-Nepal faction organized a protest program hurling shoes at the effigy of ‘regression’ before Narayanhiti in Kathmandu Monday.

The students agitated against the dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR) alleged Prime Minister KP Oli for “tying knots” with royalists and forces against federalism.

The participants hurled shoes at the effigy marked ‘regression’ and chanted slogans against the government and PM Oli.

Interestingly, there were photos of PM Oli stitched on the effigy.
