Arati Soap and Vegetable Industry on fire since last 17 hrs



BARA: A fire that broke out at Arati Soap and Vegetable Oil Factory in Jitpur on Sunday night, Bara has not come under control even after 17 hours.

According to SP Dipendra Shahi, the fire that started at the factory at around 7 PM on Sunday has not come under control yet.

He informed that eight fire engines including three from the Birgunj Metropolitan City, one each from Hetauda, Jitpur and Kalaily Submetropolitan city are trying to douse the fire.

Kohalbi Municiapality and Nepal Oil Corporation have also sent their fire extinguishers to control the fire.

The factory has been producing oil and soap. According to the operators, the fire is raging in the oil storage house now.
