DHANUSHA: Newly appointed Chief of Province 2 Dr. Rajesh Jha on Sunday assumed office amid a function.

On the occasion, Dr. Jha, talking to media-persons, pledged to discharge his duty according to his first priority to the country, people, and the constitution.

Amid political uncertainties and an escalating row between the two factions of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), President Bidya Devi Bhandari had sacked Tilak Pariyar, the Chief of Province 2, and had appointed Jha to the post on Friday.
