Turkish Airlines Nepal collaborates with Glocal for promoting skills & recognizing teenagers



KATHMANDU: A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Turkish Airlines Nepal and Glocal Pvt Ltd.

General Manager of Turkish Airlines in Nepal, Abdullah Tuncer Kececi, and the Executive Director of Glocal Pvt Ltd, Ashish Thakur signed a memorandum of understanding amidst a function held for the occasion at the Turkish Airlines Nepal office premises.

Glocal has been actively collaborating with Turkish Airlines since 2016. In this glorious six years of collaboration with Turkish Airlines, Glocal have made it possible to develop synergies, unleash potential and skills of youths & teenagers as well, a statement issued by the Airlines said.

As a part of the collaboration, aspiring youths & teenagers will engage in a creative workshops & events such as CEO Unplugged which will expand their entrepreneurial skillset and enable them to access perspectives beyond what they see in their day-to-day lives, according to the statement.

Skill Week will be a great opportunity for youths & teenagers who have bright ideas and passion to bring about change, and enhance their skills by enrolling in different amazing workshops, competitions & case studies, it said.

Likewise, art competition with Turkish Airlines is conducted to highlight students’ artistic talents, at the same time promote reflective and critical thinking regarding visual art, the statement added.
