Kathmandu Valley sees 61 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 61 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 47 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, two in Bhaktapur, and 12 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 104 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,72,718 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 1,604 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 131 from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,69,060 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Likewise, no additional deaths connected to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, keeping the country’s death toll to 2,054.
