KATHMANDU: Spokesperson of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction Narayan Kaji Shrestha has complained that the remarks made by his party leaders have been distorted in some serious issues like the comments the party leaders made on Pashupatinath.

Speaking at a press meeting the party organized to announce its fourth agitation, Coordinator of  NCP’s Central Struggle Committee Shrestha remarked that the leaders’ remarks on secularism have been distorted by some ill-intent groups.

“Secularism means keeping state separate from the religion, it does not mean hurting anyone’s feelings or preferring a culture or religion over another,” Spokesperson Shrestha told the reporters, “We respect the religious faith of all people and do not mean to hurt anyone.”
