Prachanda-Nepal faction announces fourth phase of agitation

To form ‘human chain’ around Tundikhel on Feb. 18

KATHMANDU: As part of its agitation against the dissolution of the Parliament, the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP has announced the fourth phase of protest programs on Sunday.

Organizing a press conference at the party office in Perisdanda, party leader Yogesh Bhattarai said that they have decided to form a human chain around Tundikhel in Kathmandu from 4 to 5 pm on February 18.

The dissident faction has announced district-level protest programs from February 17 to 24.

Likewise, the faction has also decided to organize a ward-level protest program on February 19.

Similarly, they are holding a signature campaign against what they said “regression” from February 19-27 in public places of Kathmandu and other major cities.

The faction is also organizing an interaction program in Kathmandu on February 20.

Likewise, they have also decided to hold a women’s protest program on February 21 against rape, murder, and other forms of violence against women.

Similarly, the Dalit Front of the faction is organizing a protest program in Kathmandu on February 22, and a protest program on February 23 that include all backward communities.

The faction has also decided to organize a mass rally in Chitwan on February 24, which will be addressed by senior leaders, including Chairmen Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal.

Likewise, the faction is organizing a protest rally in Dang on March 5, and a youth rally in Kathmandu on February 26.
