KATHMANDU: The share price of the Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA) that opened for trading from Sunday at Rs 340 increased by 10 percent on the first day.
The share price has reached Rs 374 from the higher opening range fixed by the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).
NEPSE had fixed a range of Rs 113.62 to Rs 340.86.
The NIFRA had issued 80 million units of shares worth Rs 8 billion on January 15-19. This is the biggest IPO ever issued in the Nepali Securities market.
Of the total IPO, 0.20 percent or 160,000 units of shares have been allocated for company staffers, 5 percent or 4 million units of shares for the collective mutual fund while 75.840 million units of shares have been allotted for the general public.
With the issuance of an IPO worth Rs 8 billion, its paid-up capital has reached 20 billion.
