KATHMANDU: The widening drive of Dholahiti-Lele road has not been completed during four years.

Average physical progress of the widening drive was only 55 percent as of mid-January 2021.

Four years ago, a contract was signed to widen the congested road section to 20 meters.

The Kathmandu Valley Road Widening Project said that the drive could not make headway for long due to dispute on the breadth of the road.

Information Officer of the Project Laxman Devkota shared that road widening has not taken place in settlement areas except the forest area along the road section. RSS
