Four held on charge of slaughtering ox



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested four persons for allegedly butchering an ox.

Police held Lal Bahadur Shresth, 53, and Sanish Shrestha, 37, tenants residing at the home of Arpan Shrestha, 26, of Thasang rural municipality-4, Ghansa, Nishchal BK, 13, and Purna BK, 37, of Pahiro Thapla.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided the area and found the accused with a head and flesh of an ox, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Gandaki Province, Rajkumar Shrestha said.

Police have initiated an investigation into the incident, police said.
