Sudurpaschim Province holding winter session from today

DHANGADHI: The winter session of the Sudurpaschim Province is taking place from today.

The winter session is starting from today six months after the budget session ended, said Provincial Assembly Secretariat.

The provincial assembly meeting will start at 1 pm where three different bills submitted by the government will be tabled.

The assembly meeting, which is taking place after the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) split into Prachanda-Nepal and Oli groups politically, is viewed meaningfully.

The ruling NCP who holds two-thirds majority with 37 members in the provincial assembly of Sudurpaschim has been divided. Prachanda-Nepal faction has 30 lawmakers while Oli has seven members.
