These eight Nepali cricketers registered for IPL auction



KATHMANDU: Eight players from Nepal have registered their names for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee, wicketkeeper Binod Bhandari, spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, Sompal Kami, all-rounder Karan KC, Kushal Malla, batsman Sharad Veswakar and Abinash Bohara have been included in the action, according to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

The IPL Player Registration closed on 4th February 2021 with 1097 players (814 Indian and 283 overseas players) signing up to be a part of the IPL 2021 Player Auction.

The auction will take place in Chennai on 18th February 2021.

The player’s list incorporates 207 capped, 863 uncapped, and 27 Associate players.

It should be noted that Delhi Capitals has released Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane for the next season.
