Elements provoking people to go for violent agitation will face the music

KATHMANDU: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that the current political instability has been related to the conspiracy of deposing the President, Prime Minister, and the party Chairman.

“It is high time that all people came together to protect the people’s achievements,” Thapa said while addressing a mass meeting organized by the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) at Durbar Marga, Kathmandu on Friday.

Thapa said those elements provoking people to launch “non-vegetarian” (violent) agitation will be locked up in the zoo.

“Do not ever dare to go for such an agitation,” he warned hinting at Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s statement, which he made earlier this week.

“Today’s mass meeting has given a clear message that NCP and the people are committed towards republicanism and federalism,” he said.
