Nepali nat’l drowns in Australia



KATHMANDU: One more Nepali national has drowned while swimming in Australia.

A 40-year-old man from Parbat district has died in Brisbane’s Sunshine Coast, according to the Queensland Non-Resident Nepali Association.

He had gone to Australia on a dependent visa. He drowned while swimming in the Gardeners Waterfall Lake on Tuesday evening.

Earlier in the first week of this month, Sachet Bimali from Nepal drowned while swimming in Sydney, Australia.

Bimli, 23, died on January 4 in the course of swimming in the Royal National Park.
