CHITWAN: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has paid last tribute to leftist leader Khamb Singh Kunwar alias Kaziba.

Prachanda, who arrived in Chitwan on Tuesday to pay his respects, covered the dead body with flowers and a party flag and offered his condolences to the bereaved family.

Talking to reporters after paying tribute, Prachanda said that Kunwar had made a great contribution to the advancement of the communist movement, adding that he had taken a party membership from Kunwar.

“I have taken him as my and communist movement’s guardian,” said Prachanda.

Prachanda described the dead death as ‘painful in the wake of serious changes in the communist movement and politics.’

He said that the demise would inspire him to fight against regression with more force.
